Whatever the intrigue and gossip that may circulate around your table, Ligne Roset would like your guests to sit comfortably long into the evening or through a lazy lunch.
The breadth of choice in both design and materials usually means that items are made to order, but selected tables and chairs are on express delivery. These options are highlighted throughout this section.
Dining tables big and small
Our dining table offer stretches from three metre tables, large enough to accommodate that big celebration or family gathering, to models small enough to provide just a perch, grabbing breakfast, perhaps, in a kitchen area. As the centre piece of the dining room or open plan living zones, dining tables can blend in or quietly demand attention and respect.
We think Ligne Roset is particularly strong on sleek minimal pieces such as OSESSA designed by Mario Lipparini in wafer-thin ceramic oe solid wood supported on metal feet. Ligne Roset introduced a new ceramic choice for 2021/22: Emperador in deep brown with red tones plus Maraquinia gloss black with white veins.
At the other end of the scale we have EATON squarely made from solid timber. This design can be custom-made in your choice of size from 160cm though sizes up to 240cm. European walnut is the popular choice but shades of oak and cherry are also offered plus a raised- grain’ burnt oak’ black.
Perching and Island living
For those of us always on the go or with smaller living spaces, Ligne Roset offers a select choice of small tables that can be adjusted with the click of a lever from dining height to ‘bar’ height such as PIAZZA, shaped after Sienna’s own piazza.
And we offer height adjustable bar stools to go with or for that new kitchen island you just installed.
Sitting, comfortably
Ligne Roset offers even more choice in its dining chairs that complement its tables. A lot of thought goes into their design, starting with ergonomics of comfort and support and then creating a style. There is attention to detail too: despite their appearance, many upholstered chairs have removable covers so that you can change with the fashions or the seasons.
Of the current designs, VIK by Thibault Desombre is proving popular, deliberately light in weight and with an optional handle to help move it around.
BENDCHAIR by Peter Maly also has a stunningly minimal line yet with great support for the lumbar region. LONG ISLAND is at the more classic end of the design scale.
Ligne Roset’s upholstered chairs are available in our full range of fabrics and hides and so an order time is usually inevitable. However, we have chairs such as PETRA in tough polyurethane and aluminium that are usually on express delivery, and in a choice of colours too.
Complementary storage
Our storage ranges can be tailored to complement dining furniture too, with sideboards matching with the table or in many varieties of wood and lacquer finishes. Ligne Roset has invested in extra machines to offer up to 16 colours of lacquer on a number of sideboard and chest designs including Pagnon & Pelhaitre’s BOOK&LOOK, DITA and Christian Werner’s EVERYWHERE ranges. For 2021/22 Christian has updated select pieces from the Everywhere range in a very special ridged dark walnut. Its name is SELVANS.
The wafer-thin ceramics used in some of our dining tables are also offered as a top surface on some sideboards to lift them to another level and tie in the look.
