Ligne Roset has gradually developed quite a collection of furniture that may be used outside. A lot of what appears in this part of our website also appears in other sections; this is because the outdoor range does not look like garden furniture at all and is equally at home indoors.
However, in 2019 Ligne Roset invested their imagination into converting two soft seating ranges into special outdoor versions that could really be left out in the rain and have really upped our game in the Outdoor market. OTTOMAN by Noe Duchaufour-Lawrance has been adapted with a drainage slot through the rear of the seat and the foams, interliner and fabrics and chosen for all weathers. In addition, Roset has brought back a 1960s design by Michel Ducaroy called SAPARELLA. Mr Ducaroy designed our iconic TOGO. Again drainage down the channels of the seat has been factored in. For 2022 Christian Werner has created MURTOLI bench + adjustable backs seating inspired by classic Prado seating for outdoor use.
Hard to believe but Ligne Roset even has a couple of rug options that can be left outside in rain and shine. ROPE does look like it’s made from woven, well, rope of the kind that would rot away if left outside. But no, it’s made from recycled product, mainly plastic mineral water bottles.
And Ligne Roset can also provide some designs to light up your terrace or garden. GLOBE is made from sand-blasted polythene with a water-proof switch
and brighter bulb. Feston provides a festive 8 metre ribbon of LED light to suspend from wall hooks or special lighting stems. Paseo is bang up to date in its technology with its solar panel top to recharge it and various ways of using it such as auto-night time mode. Yet it’s teak frame lantern design also looks quite nostalgic.
A number of the outdoor pieces are often held in stock at Ligne Roset so keep an eye on our Express Item tags as you look though the section.
