You may cancel your order without forfeiting the deposit, within three days of placing your order.
Our one exception to this is for custom-made rugs which can only be cancelled or amended within 24 hours of placing the order.
If you wish to cancel after this period has elapsed, we reserve the right to retain some or all of the deposit if your order has reached a stage of production or shipment that it cannot be cancelled with the Ligne Roset factories
To notify us of your cancellation request you must do so by sending an email to sales@ligne-roset-westend.co.uk or in writing to your salesperson contact at Ligne Roset, 23-25 Mortimer Street, London W1T 3JE.
We retain the right to cancel your order if the product has been removed from the Ligne Roset collection and stock is no longer available to fulfil your order.
In this case we will refund money paid in relation to the order. We will not be liable for any compensation.
Upon delivery of your goods it is your responsibility (or the responsibility of the person acting on your behalf) to inspect each item and to sign the driver’s delivery note to confirm receipt of the goods. Any claim regarding missing items, damage or defective goods must be made within 24 hours. After this time Ligne Roset Westend cannot be held responsible for goods that are no longer in our care. If your goods are being shipped outside the UK by an independent shipping company, it is the responsibility of the shipping company to sign the driver’s delivery note on your behalf.
Once the goods have been handed over to the shipping company and the delivery note has been signed by them, we will no longer be responsible for any loss or damage unless the loss was caused by our negligence or due to a manufacturing defect or design fault. Any claims may be reduced or rejected if Ligne Roset Westend have not been given the opportunity to seek to resolve the matter to your satisfaction. Ligne Roset Westend does not sell items on a ‘sale or return’ basis. If the product is not faulty, damaged, sub-standard or not matching the stated specification, we do not generally accept returns. However we decide each case on merit at the Managing Director’s discretion.
In any case we will retain the costs of collecting items. £75.00 + VAT within Greater London and on quotation outside of this zone.
It is the customer’s responsibility to check that there is enough access within the property for the item to fit. We give maximum dimensions of each item. In the case of soft furnishings the dimensions may include elements that have some flexibility. As an example, the dimensions of our iconic Togo seating are given from the tip to tip of the flexible ‘ears’ at the corners of this seat design.
We cannot accept returns and cancellations for items that will not fit. However, we do offer access checks and awkward delivery quotes if you have doubts before purchasing. See our ‘Additional Services’ section.
There may be a slight variation between fabric batches, the most common variation being colour-shading. Whilst we make every effort to ensure your product is manufactured from the same fabric batch we cannot guarantee any subsequent orders will be an exact match your original order and will not be able to accept returns on this basis.
Please also note that fabrics can fade over time, especially cotton fabric, and from exposure to direct sunlight. This is a natural feature and cannot be accepted as a fault. Nor can wooden furniture changing in tone over time.
