Home Office
Ligne Roset does not pretend to be an office furniture company but in our flexible multi-tasking world, people may need a zone at home where they can focus on work but don’t want their home to resemble a workplace. This is where Roset comes in, providing designer desks, chairs and stylish storage.
We have design classics such as URSULINE and TANIS desks by the iconic Pierre Paulin. These two are usually on quick delivery. REWRITE designed by GamFratesi provides a hooded cove to cut you off from the distractions of home. The same design team also produced NUBO – such a simple idea really. This piece is mounted directly onto a wall at the height to suit the desker. Its rounded padded shape like a bar of soap or a 1960s travel case yet the fabric-covered front drops smoothly down to reveal a desk surface and some hidden storage for paperwork. Both these desks are custom-ordered in a myriad choice of colours.
Desks need chairs. Of course many of our dining chairs are perfectly suitable for this purpose but Ligne Roset also adapts a number of these chairs to be fully rotating, plus there are rise/fall mechanisms and castor options. The popular VIK and SALA dining designs can both be ordered in desk chair formats.
Storage
Ligne Roset has specific and casual solutions for home storage.
We have ranges that can be tailored to your specific needs such as CANALETTO designed by Mauro Lipparini with its beautiful dark walnut details or ET CETERA by Pagnon & Pelhaitre with many lacquer and wood options – even fabric-clad doors in more than 60 colours.
BOOK&LOOK is another choice, with its design based on a grid pattern of squares. These ranges can form huge runs of open shelving for your book collection or just to hide stuff away behind doors and in drawers and keep life at least looking neat. DITA also has storage pieces within its range offering chests in 16 lacquer colours, all framed in glamorous bronzed metal.
However, we have also included other smaller items cherry-picked from other parts of the Ligne Roset collection to inspire you. Check out the quirky asymmetrical CUTS open shelves by Philippe Nigro.
Our favourite designer, Pierre Paulin, also pops up in this section too. La Bibliotheque Fil was a shelving solution that he designed for his own home use. Michel Roset loved it and so it was put into commercial production. It is very simple with an industrial feel but also modular and can be added to over time.
Although the bigger storage systems are made to order, the smaller pieces can often be factory stock so do check those ‘Express Item’ labels as you browse through.
